A group at SC&I is tasked with coming up with new names for Citrix.
Luckily, RU ASIS&T has been given the opportunity to help!
Those who have taken Digital Library Technology or Multimedia Production are well aware of Citrix. In case you are not familiar, Citrix is a service that allows access to applications from any computer anywhere via the internet. Information Technology Services provides access to SC&I specific software via this link. Students are able to run programs like ABBYY FineReader, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
While Citrix is the name of this service, it is not very descriptive of what it makes available. So, put on your thinking hat and come up with new names for this excellent service.
